Some people said ' Don't judge a book by its cover '. Yeah, this year is messed in the early, but I believe there are good things waiting behind.
Ps: I'm still improving my english, so if you find any mistakes, pardon me, I'm still learning anyway hehe.
Welcome to 2020, yeah it's late actually because now is April. It has passed 3 months since new year already haha.
But many things happened in early 2020, but the most significant is about coronavirus outbreak or COVID-19. And now Indonesia has nearly to five thousand of COVID-19 cases. Or maybe it's already touch five thousand cases, I don't know exactly because I'm not really update about this one. It kinda stressed me out.
For real.
But I'm not going to write about Corona things, i'm going to tell its impact to my life.
We have been quarantined or social distancing or you named it, for a long time since the first case of this outbreak in early March hit Indonesia where specifically is in Depok. The city where my family lives.
Then I'm a little bit freaked out after heard that news.
Then I'm a little bit freaked out after heard that news.
Me, which is far away from them, worried so much about their safety. I told my mom to not going anywhere, just stay at home. But my father and sister were working, and fortunately, my father's office has policy to their employee to work from home. But my sister can't do the 'Work From Home' thing because her job can't be done from home, same as I am. I still go to my office. Doing my job as usual.
I almost departed from Bangka last month, because my headquarter's office hold a short course, and I'm a participant for this. I'm so happy to follow this course because I can take three days off after the course and go home to see my parents, and to drink chatime, eat pizza hut, wingstop, ichiban sushi, and any food that I can't find in Bangka.
And this outbreak ruined my plan ðŸ˜
So I haven't seen my parents for 4 months, plus, the government has notified us that we can't do 'mudik' at Eid holidays because of this outbreak and also to prevent this outbreak to not getting worse. So it's about 5-6 months. It's the longest period since I wander.
This outbreak really has big impact to our social life,
You work from home,
You should stay at home, if there's no emergency business to go outside,
You can't cipika cipiki, salaman, when you meet people.
You should keep a meter away from another people.
You can't go out without wearing mask.
Now it's hard to find mask and hand sanitizer, it's rare now, if it's available, the price is higher than normal.
Irony, isn't it? When people really need those things, some seller raised the price so they can make more money. Sigh.

And also when you entered a supermarket, you have to wash your hands first with hand sanitizer and the security will check your temperature. But I think, they didn't know the temperature that a healthy person should have. It's should be 36-37,5 degrees Celcius, if I'm not mistaken. And one time, I went to supermarket and they checked my temperature then I asked about how is mine, and they answered that my temperature was 34! I'm shocked, if they know the normal temperature, then I should be brought to the hospital 😅
And this one really makes me sad, because a person who died because of COVID-19 which is want to get buried got some rejection from people around the cemetery because they thought that the dead body still be able to transmit the virus to people who is still alive.
It's not even true! ðŸ˜
But there's positive impact because of this outbreak, the sky looks clearer because some people stay in their own home, less pollution ❤️
#stayathome
Now, Ramadhan is about a week to go. Things will be different this time, because we can't do 'taraweh' at mosque. One of my favorite routine in this holy month ðŸ˜
Praying this outbreak will come to the end soon.
Everything will be better, insya allah.
